Fugitive wanted for carrying firearm

CLEVELAND (Toledo News Now) -

The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information which would lead to the capture of fugitive Basim Barnes.

Barnes is wanted by the U.S. Marshals and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives for being a felon in possession of a firearm. The firearm was discovered by the Cleveland Police following a traffic stop.  

Barnes is described as a 28-year-old black male standing approximately 6 feet tall and weighing 176 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. 

He is believed to be hiding somewhere in Cleveland and also has a previous address near the 1300 block of Crestline Avenue in Cleveland.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Basim Barnes is encouraged to contact the NOVFTF at 1-866-4WANTED or text keyword "WANTED" with the tip to TIP411. Tipsters may remain anonymous. A cash reward may be available.
