Crime Stoppers seeks 'habitual burglar,' owner of jar

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for information on the whereabouts of a man they say is a habitual burglar.

25-year-old Brandon Paul Chin is wanted by police for the July 13 burglary of a home in the 6700 block of Rasberry Lane and possibly other burglaries.

Police say the victim the July 13 burglary came home to find her apartment had been broken into and several pieces of jewelry were taken, along with electronics and video games.

Witnesses told police they saw a black male get into a white Lincoln with a silver stripe and a vehicle matching that description was traced back to Chin's family.

Police say Chin pawned several items taken in the burglary within hours of them being stolen.

Police are also looking to identify the owner of a jar found in Chin's car, which may have been taken during another burglary. The jar contains money from Amsterdam and a Kroger receipt.

Crime Stoppers is offering a $400.00 reward for any information on the whereabouts of Chin.
