Police searching for armed robber in credit union holdup

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

Caddo deputies are investigating the armed robbery at a south Shreveport credit union Friday morning.

Police were called to the Wesla Federal Credit Union in the 2900 block of Williamson Way around 9:30 a.m., after a man entered the credit union and indicated to the teller that he had a gun.

Chadwick says armed robber was wearing a red ball cap and was wearing a t-shirt that read "Sleep is for the rich," along with a red baseball cap with a dark bull with the word "bulldog" on it.

He was last seen running from the scene east on Williamson Way.

There were no injuries. The search for a suspect continues.
