SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

A Shreveport man is behind bars after investigators say they found an active meth lab at the Blanchard Mobile Home Villa.

Agents with the Caddo-Shreveport Narcotics Task Force say they were investigating a drug complaint on Wednesday when they discovered the drug-making setup in a shed outside the mobile home of Christopher Addison, 38.

Agents discovered the lab while the "cooking" process was still in progress. A hazardous materials company was contacted to dispose of the dangerous chemicals.

Addison was not home at the time, but was arrested when he returned and charged with creation/operation of a clandestine lab.
