SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

Family members for the three people killed in a Mooretown home last week are asking for the public's help in bringing those responsible to justice.

Relatives held a news conference with Shreveport police Thursday afternoon to plead for  information that could be helpful in solving the case.

"I just want to say, whoever did this, you couldn't have known my mother and my grandmother because they would have never harmed anyone, they never have harmed anyone," said 19-year-old Stephen Ford Jr. "It just wasn't right, just like my dad just said, anyone who has any information, please just please contact the police. I just want to know why, I want to know why."

Officers were called to the home in the 4900 block of Gloria drive around 9:45 p.m. on July 18, after a relative found the victims dead in the home. The Caddo Parish coroner says the victims had been stabbed to death.

The victims were identified as Brian Wilson, 51, Carisa Ellison, 41, and her mother Irene Ellison, 78. Carisa and Irene Ellison's two kids and grandchildren were present at the news conference along with the children's father, stepmother, and stepsister.

"Their mother and grandmother were the closest people in their lives," said Stephen Ford, referring to his two children, "If you have any information that will bring you closure to this, no they can't have their grandmother and their mother anymore, but we can have justice with the help of the public, please call the police," Ford urged.

"If anyone has any information, we need closure for our family and for these babies," said the two teens' stepmother Labrendia Ford, "We are hurting right now, we all are. Having justice, that's the only thing, that's going to try to at least help us get through this," said Ford.

Investigators hope by soliciting information from the public they can develop leads in the case to determine exactly what happened.

Anyone with information is asked to call Shreveport-Caddo Crimestoppers at 318-673-7373.

Visitation for Carisa and Irene Ellison will be Friday, July 26 at 6:30 p.m. at Winnfield Funeral home on Hollywood avenue in Shreveport.

Funeral services will be Saturday, July 27 at 11 a.m. at Praise Temple Full Gospel church on Greenwood road.  Burial will follow at Lincoln Memorial Park cemetery.
