CADDO PARISH, LA (KSLA) -

An Ida, Louisiana woman wanted for driving a stolen truck and travel trailer into a northern Caddo parish lake surrendered to authorities Thursday.

Sarah Jane Bridges turned herself in to Caddo investigators and was booked for felony theft of the trailer, aggravated flight and hit and run.

The Caddo Sheriff's Office says Bridges was driving the stolen truck and trailer on highway 1 around 2:30 a.m. July 4th.  A deputy tried to pull her over but she refused to stop.  She continued swerving back and forth on Mira Myrtis road before driving into Noah Tyson Park where she hit several trees and a barbecue pit.  According to deputies, Bridges then drove the truck and trailer off the boat launch and into Black Bayou.  She was able to swim away.

Investigators said the trailer had just been taken from a business in Vivian.  The truck was originally reported stolen in April in Shreveport.

More charges could be filed against Bridges in connection with the stolen truck.
