On Sunday, Longview police say they received a call at 5:18 p.m. reporting a shooting in the 300 block of Bonner Street.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found 19-year-old Joey Lee Espy, AKA Joey Lee Henderson, dead of apparent gunshot wounds.

A female was also in the residence with non-life-threatening wounds, but was transported to Good Shepherd Medical Center.

It appeared that both victims had been shot. Authorities told KLTV last night that at least 30 bullet holes were evident in the residence. Police believe narcotics may have been involved in this crime.

They ask that anyone with information regarding this crime call detective Terry Davis at 903-237-1199. If you prefer to remain anonymous, call CrimeStoppers at 903-236-7867.
