The investigation into an alleged drug-dealing operation led to the arrest of one East Texas man on Wednesday.
According to the Bowie County Sheriff's Office, 32-year-old Tonard Laphail Griffin was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance Over One Gram and Under Four Grams.
Deputies executed a search warrant on a house in the 100 block of County Road 2010 in New Boston. Upon entering the home, they found a white rock-like substance believed to be crack cocaine, along with a set of digital scales.
Griffin was taken into custody and booked into the Bi-State Jail. His bond has been set at $7500.
