Surveillance video released, reward offered for arrests in UHaul armed robbery

Shreveport police are looking for two suspects in the armed brazen armed robbery of a local UHaul store.

Police have released surveillance video of the crime, and a reward is being offered for information leading to the arrests of the two men seen in the video walking in to the UHaul store in the 1600 block of North Hearne Avenue around 6 p.m. on Friday, June 21.

One of them men can be seen pulling a silver and black handgun from his waistband, pointing it at two employees and demanding money.

The second man, described by police as the shorter of the two, is seen running behind the counter and emptying the cash drawer. Both men grabbed an iPhone and an iPad from the counter before fleeing across the street toward the Villa Norte apartments.

Police describe the taller man as a black male, 5'11, 160 lbs, wearing black visor hat, black bandana over face, armed with silver and black semi auto handgun.  The second, shorter man was also a black male, 5'8, 140 lbs, wearing multi colored cloth over face, green and white hat.

Crime Stoppers is offering a $400 reward for information leading to the identification and arrest of one or both of the men.
