SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

Skeptics and believers alike have one more day to take in the spooky sights and supernatural sounds of the paranormal this weekend, as the Downtown Paranormal Fest continues in Shreveport Saturday.

Unexplainable things seem to happen all over the Ark-La-Tex, but Louisiana is said to be the most haunted state in the U.S. The three-day festival takes advantages of all the super-natural resources the area has to offer.

"We have paranormal activity and it's a great resource for the state of Louisiana. By golly, if we can create jobs and opportunities and a reason for people to come downtown, we're doing it," said Liz Swaine, Director of Downtown Development.

Swaine says this festival is attracting not only believers but skeptics as well. "I think it will be something for everyone because you'll be able to have experiences that you haven't had before and you may be able to build on experiences that you may have had before."

James Susla has been on a few paranormal investigations in Texas but says he's really excited about the festival in Shreveport. "People who are skeptics can come out and see if they become a believer and people just for curiosity sake."

Skeptics and believers alike can see for themselves with ghost hunts a the Multicultural Center, The Spring Street Museum, and The Norsworthy Gallery, all of which have documented paranormal activity. "There will be a series at 9, 10, and if necessary 11 o'clock," said Paranormal Investigator John Combs.
