(CNN) - A six-pack of beer tastes the same no matter what state you drink it in, but the price can really vary.
In Tennessee, beer drinkers pay 66 cents toward state beer taxes per six-pack, but next door in Missouri, the tax drops to mere pennies.
States with the highest beer taxes include Alaska, Alabama and Georgia.
Wyoming has the lowest beer taxes, and they haven't been raised since 1935, two years after the end of prohibition.
