SPD: Suspect caught in West 77th Street shooting

SHREVEPORT-BOSSIER CITY, LA (KSLA) -

A man Shreveport Police suspect is linked to a shooting earlier this month was caught Friday. 

Lucas Taylor, 30, was arrested on an outstanding warrant in connection with the May 20 shooting of Brian James, 23, in the 300 block of West 77th Street.

Taylor was caught by agents with the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force. They found Taylor inside a house located on Rose Circle in Bossier City.

Police say Taylor was arrested without incident and booked into the Bossier City Jail on the warrant charging him with illegal use of a weapon.

Taylor's bond has been set at $250,000.
