CADDO-BOSSIER PARISH, LA (KSLA) -

Storms that pushed through the ArkLaTex on Tuesday dropped a few trees as well as area temperatures but caused little structural damage, authorities say.

In Shreveport, power lines and power poles were reported down in the Highland neighborhood. And a tree fell on a house in the 9100 block of Southwood Drive.

DeSoto Parish Deputies reported a few trees down in Logansport and Stonewall but no streets were closed.

Authorities in Minden say a number of trees and poles were down. A telephone pole reportedly snapped in half in the Beaver Creek subdivision.

The storms did manage to affect temperatures, which fell in the ArkLaTex to the mid 60s from the mid 80s in most areas.
