WASKOM, TX (KSLA) -

Storm damage reports came flooding out of Waskom, Texas on Thursday. A woman in a wheel chair was stranded in her house after a tree fell on it, two individuals in a truck were hit by a tree, and one business, torn up by tornado three years ago, was hit again.

10 people were at the business, Five Starr Builders, at the time, several of them took shelter in their cars including employee Josh Hortman. "At first it was completely white, I couldn't see an inch past my window," he said explaining how he was caught in the middle of the storm, in his truck. The wind pushed him 9 feet across the road. "Once the weather had cleared I looked back up and all the buildings were gone," said Hortman.

This isn't the first time this business has been beat up by Mother Nature. Owner Rod Cory says three years ago a tornado, wiped out the business. "It's not as bad as last time, don't get me wrong, it's bad, but it's not as bad as last time," said Cory and adds the business bounced back three years ago and hopes to do the same again. "We rebuilt then, we'll do it again."

Cory estimates the damage total will be around $150,000.00.
