BOSSIER CITY, LA (KSLA) -

Three people are behind bars after shots were fired at a Bossier City apartment complex early Monday morning.

Police say around 1:30 a.m. they were called out to the Riverwood Apartments in the 2100 block of Riverwood Drive after residents reported hearing shots fired.

A resident at the complex says he heard his neighbors arguing and then gunshots. He says that's when he called 911.

When officers arrived, the man and woman reportedly arguing when the shots were heard refused to come out as requested. Police say they finally emerged about 45 minutes later, along with another adult, 11-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl.

Police say they found marijuana, drug paraphernalia and two handguns inside the apartment. "The 3 individuals were charged with both drug possession charges, paraphernalia charges, as well as weapons charges due to the weapons being in the presence of the drugs, and due to the fact that 2 juveniles were inside. They were also charged with possession of dangerous substances in front of minors. Along with those charges the female was also charged with: criminal mischief discharging a firearm out there in front of the apartment" Mark Natale, with the Bossier City Police Department, says.

Police arrested 33-year-old Tremeka Shondell King of Bossier City and charged her with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a minor and illegal possession of a firearm.

She was also charged with criminal mischief for firing the gunshot while arguing with 26-year-old Zontrell Alexandre Lewis of Shreveport.

Lewis and Leroy Graham Jr., 20, of Greenwood, the third adult in the apartment, were each booked on charges of possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a minor and illegal possession of a firearm.

The two juveniles were released to the custody of a relative.
