CATS board accepts CEO resignation, begins replacement search

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

The Capital Area Transit System, CATS, accepted the resignation of CEO Brian Marshall on Thursday.

CATS has begun the search for Marshall's replacement, but have given temporary administrative authority to Dalton Honore, vice chairman of the CATS board, and Gary Owens, Chief Financial Officer.

The board hopes to have an interim in place by May 22. The interim CEO will remain in place for 6 to 9 months until CATS can find and name a permanent replacement for Brian Marshall.
