TEXARKANA, AR (KSLA) -

A second man in connection with the death of a Texarkana man found shot to death in his car is now in custody.

Texarkana police say Brandon Starling, 24, turned himself in to authorities on Monday night.

21-year-old Justin Benton, who turned himself in to the Bi-State Justice Center on Friday, is being held on $1 million bond.

Both are charged with 1st degree murder and attempted murder.

Police believe Benton is linked to the shooting death of Andrew Cheatham, who was found shot to death inside a vehicle on Pinehurst Street on the night of April 19. Police say Cheatham was involved in some type of altercation when gunfire erupted.

2 others are still wanted in connection with the case: 21-year-old Aundrey Battle and 22-year-old Frank Starling.

Serandon Starling was charged last year with one count of aggravated robbery, residential robbery, kidnapping and theft of property. He was out on $100,000 bond in Miller County at the time of Cheatham's shooting. Police say Starling had a leg monitor but it was removed after he was arrested by another jurisdiction.
