A mother pulled over for driving the wrong way down a road in Murfreesboro with her two children in the car was not lost. Police said she's accused of driving drunk.
According to police reports, Terica Cantrell, 28, was arrested Sunday at about 5 a.m. at the intersection of West Northfield Boulevard and Northwest Broad Street.
Officers said in the report that Cantrell was observed turning her car's headlights off prior to the traffic stop.
When police approached the car, they said Cantrell seemed disoriented and her eyes were glassy. Officers said Cantrell did not complete field sobriety tests satisfactorily.
Cantrell had both her 11-year-old son and 7-year-old daughter in the car during the incident.
During a check of Cantrell's driver's license, police said they discovered she had been arrested and convicted of DUI in 2004.
