LSU ranked number 2 in this week's baseball polls

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

After a 3-1 week, LSU is ranked number 2 in this week's Collegiate Baseball and ESPN/USA Today Baseball Polls.

The Tigers started the week with a 4-0 victory against Grambling. LSU traveled to Tuscaloosa and won two out of three games against Alabama, including a game two 16-inning thriller.

LSU is now 37-4 overall and 15-3 in the SEC, one game behind Vanderbilt (16-2). The Tigers have a four game lead over Arkansas in the SEC West.

The Tigers will host Tulane Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at Alex Box Stadium.
South Carolina will come to Baton Rouge this weekend for a three game series beginning Friday at 7:00 p.m.
