Bossier Police seek woman accused of theft

Bossier City detectives are asking the public for help with locating a woman wanted on a pair of criminal charges in connection with a stolen iPhone. Police want the public's help, they say, because of the suspect's past history of theft arrests and the fact that she continues to elude capture.

Detectives have obtained arrest warrants for Labershia Camilla Stacy, 42, of Shreveport charging her with theft and illegal possession of stolen things. They say she sold a stolen iPhone that had been taken from a student in March on the LSU-S campus.  Bond on the two charges is set at $12,000.

Bossier City detectives learned the iPhone was later sold at the Game Stop store in Pierre Bossier Mall. Evidence obtained in the investigation resulted in detectives securing warrants for Stacy's arrest. The theft charge against her is for allegedly taking money for the stolen iPhone and leaving the Game Stop store at a financial loss. The theft charge is not related to the theft of the iPhone. LSU-S police are investigating that aspect of the case.

Anyone with information that can help police locate Stacy is asked to call Bossier City detectives at (318) 741-8697.
