SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

Police are looking for a man they've dubbed the "Craigslist Bandit," wanted for ripping off customers who never got what they paid for.

Over the past few months, police say they have received complaints that a man has posted items for sale such as custom wheels and vehicles on the Internet shopping web site, only to take his victims' money without delivering the goods.

According to police, the man sets a price of $850 for each item and then waits at local wire transfer centers to pick up the funds from the unsuspecting victims.

On Tuesday, Caddo-Shreveport Crime Stoppers released surveillance video of the man at one of those local wire transfer centers, in hopes that someone can help identify him.

A $500 reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest. Contact CrimeStoppers at (318) 673-7373 or www.lockemup.org.
