Former Gov. Mark Sanford and his republican runoff opponent, Charleston Councilman Curtis Bostic, are participating in a meet and greet event and a final debate before Tuesday's runoff for South Carolina's First Congressional District seat.
The meet and greet will take place Monday at the Curtis Visitor Center in Beaufort starting at 8 a.m. The event is open to the public.
Then later, the candidates will hold their second and final debate at noon Monday at Aunt Chiladas Easy Street Cafe, 69 Pope Ave. on Hilton Head Island. It is free to attend but lunch will cost $10 per person.
