Police searching for 2 men accused of raping woman

Police need the public's help in finding two men who are wanted for aggravated rape and armed robbery.

The crimes were committed just after midnight on March 23, 2013 in the 1700 block of Stilt Street, which is close to the BREC Anna T. Jordan Community Park off Scenic Hwy. in North Baton Rouge.

According to police, a man and a woman were confronted by a black male suspect armed with a gun. The suspect robbed both victims and raped the female. Shortly thereafter, a second suspect arrived and also raped the female victim while his accomplice held both victims at gunpoint.

Detectives have identified one of the suspects as 20-year-old Tyrone Lentrell Pope. The second suspect is not yet identified, but is described as a dark-complected black male in his early to mid 20s, between 5'8" and 5'9" tall, and weighs about 200 pounds.
