DESOTO PARISH, LA (KSLA) -

A Desoto Parish grand jury indicted three men Monday on various charges that include murder, kidnapping, and sexual assault.

Terrence W. Glaster, 31, of Mansfield, was indicted on one count of second degree murder.  Glaster is accused of killing Laderrick Hadnott in December 2012 during a burglary of Hadnott's Mansfield residence.  Law enforcement officers took Glaster into custody after the indictment, and he remains in the Desoto Parish Detention Center on a $750,000.00 bond.  If convicted, Glaster faces a mandatory life sentence.

Randy Canada, Jr., 19, of Mansfield, was indicted on one count of aggravated rape.  Authorities allege that Canada impregnated a 12 year old girl, who gave birth to the baby in 2012.  Canada remains in the DeSoto Parish Detention Center. If convicted, Canada will face a mandatory life sentence.

The grand jury also indicted Donald McMillon, 27, of Mansfield on one count of aggravated kidnapping, one count of second degree robbery and one count of aggravated second degree battery.  Police report that on February 17, 2013, McMillon held his live-in girlfriend against her will and robbed her of $800.00.  During the attack, McMillon also severely beat the victim with several different weapons, causing her to be hospitalized.  McMillon remains in the DeSoto Parish Detention Center, awaiting trial.

DeSoto Parish District Attorney Richard Z. Johnson, Jr., whose office convened the grand jury, noted that all three cases involve serious violent offenses.  "In each of these cases, the evidence shows that a victim suffered at the hands of the accused.  These indictments are an important step in getting justice for those victims."
