SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

Westbound traffic along a segment of E. 70th Street had to detour around an overturned car Monday afternoon as Shreveport Police worked to clear and investigate the accident.

No one was injured in the one-car accident that happened about 4 p.m.  at the intersection of E. 70th and Line Avenue. The driver was the only person in the car.

Police say the car was going west when its rim caught a high part of a street curb and flipped.

Traffic headed west had to travel onto Line Avenue to pass the wreck. Eastbound traffic was not affected.
