BOSSIER CITY, LA (KSLA) -
Police are looking for the man who robbed a Bossier City bank at gunpoint Monday morning.
It happened at the Capital One Bank on Airline Drive and Shed Road just before 10 a.m.
Video surveillance a man wearing a gray hoodie with black writing on it, along with a black backpack, came into the bank and pulled out a handgun. They say his face was covered.
Witnesses say the armed robber approached the counter and robbed a customer of money at gunpoint and then demanded money from a teller. The teller complied and the suspect left the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
No one was hurt.
In addition to robbing a teller, police say the gunman also robbed a customer of their deposit money before leaving the bank and taking off on foot "in a southwesterly direction."
Witnesses tell police they believe the suspect was 5-10 to 6 feet tall.
Officers arrived on the scene within minutes after receiving the call and immediately began searching the area where the suspect was last seen headed on foot. A Bossier City police K-9 joined patrol officers in searching the area however the suspect was not located.
