Police release surveillance video of Saturday morning robbery

TYLER, TX (KLTV) -

On Saturday morning at approximately 4:27, officers responded to a robbery at the Food Fast, at 4201 University Blvd in Tyler.

According to Tyler police, the clerk stated that he was taking the trash out when an unknown black male approached him. The suspect pointed a black handgun at the clerk and ordered him inside.

Once in the store, the suspect took an undetermined amount of money and then fled the scene in an unknown direction. The clerk was unharmed during the incident.

The suspect was described as a 6'0'' tall, thin black male wearing a red hoodie, dark pants, red shoes and black backpack.

At this time there is no further information pertaining to the case and the incident is still under investigation.
