SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

A Shreveport man has been indicted on two counts of second degree murder in the shooting deaths of a Highland neighborhood couple.

57-year-old Stephen Bryant and 49-year-old Madonna Dean Wachter were found shot to death inside a home in the 200 block of Columbia Street on January 3, 2013.

The deaths of Bryant and Wachter mark the first and second homicides of the new year.
