Get ready to spring forward and lose an hour of sleep

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

Daylight Saving Time approaches, so don't forget that we all need to "spring forward" Saturday night. Setting those clocks ahead one hour before going to bed Saturday is usually the best approach. This change will cost us one hour of sleep on Saturday night, but we gain an extra hour of evening daylight for the coming months.
