Dubach girls win Class C state high school basketball finals

MONROE, LA (AP) -

For Dubach, it was a clean sweep.

The Lady Hornets held on for the team's third victory in three tries against Saline this season with a 60-58 win in the Louisiana Girls' Class C State Championship game Friday at Fant-Ewing Coliseum in Monroe. 

Sueterrica Key scored 41 points and led Dubach (26-2) with 12 rebounds. No other Dubach player scored in double digits but Carletta Thomas matched Key's 12 rebounds.

Saline (26-6), who only played five players in the game, was led by KeAnna Rainwater's 22 points while Diamond Bradley added 19 points and 14 rebounds.

Dubach trailed 45-41 entering the fourth quarter, but started the period with a 10-1 run. Saline tied it at 58-58 with 22 seconds left but failed to get another shot off before time expired.
