SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -
Police are searching for a gunman who opened fire while driving down a highway in South Shreveport Friday morning.
Police say a driver was headed east on LA Highway 3132 between Linwood Avenue and Elerbee Road when someone pulled up next to him and fired shots.
Police say the gunman's car collided with the victim's car. This caused the shooter's car to run off the road. The victim was not injured and continued driving on the highway.
Police say they were able to catch up to the victim after the shooting at an apartment on Millicent Way. Police did find a pistol at the scene of the shooting. Police say the gunman's car is a green sedan that will likely have body damage.
