A Tyler man is in the hospital after police say he fell from a water tower early Thursday morning.
Officer Don Martin with the Tyler Police Department said a 25-year-old man climbed to the top of a water tower in the 2900 block of Rockbridge Road with his friends.
According to Martin, the police report said the friends were enjoying the view from the top of the tower around 3:45 a.m., when the 25-year-old man fell 50 feet to the ground.
Officer Martin said the man is lucky to be listed in good condition. The man suffered a bloody nose, but was conscious when taken to a Tyler hospital.
Martin said the water tower is under construction. No charges have been filed.
