Man arrested for growing pot after skipping court date

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

A Baker man was arrested during a warrant roundup Thursday morning after officers found marijuana growing in his home.

Police say Clinton Pullen III, 34, had been wanted for failing to appear on speeding charges.

When officers knocked on Pullen's door, they say they could smell burned marijuana coming from inside the home.

According to reports, Pullen admitted to having a bag of marijuana in the living room, as well as several marijuana plants growing in a back room.

He has been charged with possession of marijuana, cultivation of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
