An East Texas principal and three teachers are on suspension while school officials and police investigate a complaint made against them.
Police say the investigation started after the Liberty Eylau School District received a complaint from a student and his parents. This also led to all four suspensions.
Officials are not releasing specific details about the investigation at this time. "I know that no criminal charges have been filed yet in any of these situations. As of right now, there are no criminal charges," says Liberty Eylau School spokesperson Matt Fry.
School officials say the paid suspensions went into effect last month.
