Arrested: Larry Blalock, 46 (Source: Bossier Sheriff's Office)
BOSSIER CITY, LA (KSLA) -
A Shreveport man has been arrested and charged in the theft of nearly $20,000 worth of tires from a Bossier trucking company, according to the Bossier Sheriff's Office.
Deputies say Larry Blalock, 46, of the 3900 block of Huston Street, is charged in connection with the theft of 20 large tires and rims used on 18-wheel tractor-trailer rigs from Steve Kent Trucking on Sligo Road in February.
Sheriff's Investigators say they discovered that Blalock, who worked for a tire company in Shreveport, came to the trucking company where he allegedly would change out tires from various trailers at the company. They say he allegedly laid aside the tires and later returned to steal the larger tires, worth about $18,000.
Detectives charged Blalock with theft on February 25 and took him to the Bossier Maximum Security Facility.
