Authorities have now arrested a man they say is responsible for the armed robbery of a Days Inn hotel earlier this week in West Shreveport.

Acting on a Crime Stoppers tip, investigators with Shreveport Police Department's Tactical Robbery Unit say they were able to develop Quincy Young, 30, of Shreveport, as a suspect.

On Wednesday, investigators arrived at their suspect's home, located in the 4000 block of Marion Place. Authorities say they were successful in locating the man inside the home, where he was quickly taken into custody without incident.

Police also located a Lincoln Town Car at their suspect's home. They say the car matched the description of the vehicle authorities suspected used in the robbery. A firearm also believed to be the weapon used to commit the robbery was recovered during the suspect's arrest.

From his home, Young was interviewed at police headquarters and later booked on charges of armed robbery.
