BOSSIER CITY, LA (KSLA) -

Bossier City police officers are looking for three individuals who were involved in a hit-and-run accident Sunday night.

According to Mark Natale, public information officer for the Bossier City Police Department, a vehicle struck another vehicle in Shreveport. The driver of the vehicle that was struck followed the first vehicle into Bossier City, leaving Interstate 20 at the Barksdale Boulevard exit.

Police say the first vehicle then took out a stop sign in the 2200 block of Barksdale before running up the guy wire of a nearby utility pole, at which time three individuals bailed out of the car and fled on foot.

Bossier City police are searching the area for the vehicle's occupants. They say the car was not reported stolen.
