A fight between brothers turned deadly Saturday morning, leaving one dead and the other behind bars charged with murder.
Deputies in Bowie County, Texas, responded to a report of a stabbing at No. 23 Alpine Mobile Home Park.
Upon arrival, they found 25-year-old Natasha Seim suffering from a stab wound. She told the deputies that her husband, 27-year-old Steven Hollaway, had also been stabbed by his brother, 23-year-old Larry Hollaway.
Steven Hollaway was found inside the residence, having been stabbed several times. He died later at the hospital. Seim is recovering in stable condition.
Deputies found Larry Hollaway inside the home covered in blood. He was arrested and booked into the Bi-State Justice Center in Texarkana, charged with murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Capt. David Grable of the Bowie County Sheriff's Department says that the brothers had been estranged and recently reconciled. The two men had an argument, and Larry Hollaway was apparently angry over something, which started the conflict.
Investigators are not saying what led to the argument between the brothers that turned violent.
Also in the home was a small child who was not hurt.
