Caddo deputies seeking new clues in 9-year-old cold case

CADDO PARISH, LA (KSLA) -

Caddo Parish Sheriff's Deputies are still looking for the person(s) responsible for killing a man who's been dead for almost 9 years.

On February 29, 2004, two boys who were fishing found 51-year-old Bruce Cotton's 1998 Olds pulled over to the shoulder on White Springs Road in south Caddo Parish. Inside the car was Cotton's body.

Deputies say Cotton was reported missing two days before on February 27th.

Caddo Sheriff's detectives are still actively working his case and are hoping for information from the public.

"Any information is welcome," says Detective Terry Richardson. "No matter how small it may seem, it may be the piece that completes this puzzle or advances this investigations.
