VSU softball sweeps Albany State

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

The national champion Valdosta State softball team didn't get bogged down on a muddy field.

The Lady Blazers sweep Albany State.

VSU wins game 1 16-0 and game 2 9-0.

Albany State will host Columbus State on Wednesday.

VSU will host their Holiday Inn Classic on Saturday and Sunday.

In baseball, Darton College beats #20 Chipola 12-2 in Marianna, Florida.

The Cavaliers are now 8-4 on the season.
