SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

Crews in Shreveport have stopped their search Friday for the missing person who reportedly fell from a downtown bridge.

The incident happened Wednesday night along the Red River on a trestle that crosses into Bossier City. Police say a Kansas City Southern train was coming up and a person on the bridge may have been hit by the train.

Friday's search began in the morning with Caddo Parish Sheriff's Deputies in Marine patrol boats.
