Wanted: Dennis Small, 17 (Source: Shreveport Police Department)
SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -
Dennis Small is accused of robbing another man at gunpoint back in January, and now Shreveport Police have a warrant for his arrest.
Police say the 17-year-old was one of two people who, at about 2:44 p.m. on January 26, entered a home in the 1700 block of Alma Street and robbed a man there.
The victim told police that the two men, one of whom was armed with a handgun, robbed him during an agreed upon sale of a cellular phone. The robber with the gun allegedly made the victim hand over the cell phone along with other personal items.
During their investigation, authorities developed Small as a suspect and, on last Friday, got a warrant for his arrest. He is charged with one count of armed robbery. His bond has been set at $75,000.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Dennis Small is urged to contact Shreveport-Caddo Parish Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373 or their website at www.lockemup.org.
