Shreveport Police are looking for at least two men seen leaving the home of a man who was shot in the face Monday night in the Queensborough neighborhood.
Moreover, police say that their discovery of drugs at the scene suggests that the shooting may be drug related.
Police were called about 9 p.m. to a shooting in the 3500 block of Ninock Street. Once there, police say they found Tristin Easter, 24, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the face.
Easter, who was not able to communicate with police, was taken to the hospital with injuries that were considered non-life threatening.
Witnesses were able to provide limited descriptions of two males seen leaving the scene of the shooting on foot. Their identity remains in question, but police say they are confident that their investigation will lead to the men.
After executing a search warrant on the home, police say they located about 174 grams of marijuana inside the house, which suggests that the shooting may have been narcotics related.
