SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -
Shreveport police are trying to identify a suspect involved in the robbery of a Family Dollar store.
On Jan. 7 at about 9:10 p.m., a suspect entered the Family Dollar at 2710 W. 70th St. He is described as a black male, standing 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall with a thin build, wearing a black hoodie, black bandana, white T-shirt, faded jeans pants, black gloves and armed with a black semi-automatic handgun.
Once inside the store, the suspect immediately told the employees that this was an armed robbery and demanded money. Once the suspect obtained the money, he fled out the front door.
