Shreveport Police release video of Dollar General armed robbery

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

Shreveport Police need your help to identify a man who is caught on video robbing at gunpoint a Dollar General store in Shreveport.

Police say the surveillance video shows an armed robbery that took place about 8:40 p.m. on January 20 at the Dollar General in the 4600 block of Mansfield Road.

Once inside, the robber forced the manager to open the safe, from which the robber removed a plastic bag of money and left on foot in an unknown direction.

Police describe the robber as standing between 5'7" and 5'9" and wearing a yellow hoodie, a large black coat, black bandana, and black jean pants. He was armed with a black semi-auto handgun.
