WEBSTER PARISH, LA (KSLA) -

A Dixie Inn grandmother has had several surgeries since she was shot four times by her daughter's ex-boyfriend on Saturday, according to Webster Parish deputies.

Authorities say Alice Mae Gilliens was shot in the arm, stomach, and legs after Kendrick Warren, 32, allegedly shot the woman while she was inside her home.

Deputies say Warren walked to the rear of Gilliens' home to a window, where his daughter was sleeping, and knocked on the window. His daughter, whom he fathered with Gilliens' daughter,  Allyson Hudson, went into the living room and told Gilliens someone was knocking on her window.

Gilliens went to the window and looked outside, and that was when Warren allegedly fired six shots into the home. Four of those bullets struck Gilliens. She was flown to LSU Medical Center where she currently remains. According to her family, she is expected to make a full recovery.

Hudson, who spoke with KSLA News 12, says she believed she was the initial target. Hudson and Warren had been in a relationship for the past 10 years and recently called things off. According to deputies, Warren threatened Hudson only days ago. Their 8-year-old daughter was also inside the room where Warren reportedly fired off the six shots into the home. The bullets missed her but not by much.

Warren was quickly arrested and charged with attempted second-degree murder. He allegedly had an accomplice. Lukas Fisher, 30, was also arrested and charged with accomplice to attempted second-degree murder after deputies said he drove Warren to the home where he shot Gilliens.

Warren remains in jail on a $250,000 bond. Fisher is also in jail on a $100,000 bond.
