BOSSIER CITY, LA (KSLA) -
Bossier City Police announced two more arrests Thursday in connection with several vehicle burglaries that happened late last Saturday night in a parking lot at the Louisiana Boardwalk.
Detectives with the BCPD Property Crimes Unit arrested Christopher Darnell Gross, 18, and Bobby Ray Hagins, 17, both of Shreveport on multiple counts of burglary for breaking into several unlocked vehicles in the parking lot near the IHop Restaurant.
Also charged in the case are Anthony Jerrell Gross, 20, and Reginald Demichel Johnson, 17, both of Shreveport. They were arrested within an hour after a witness reported seeing several male subjects on bicycles breaking into vehicles.
The suspects are accused of going through the parking lot lifting door handles on unlocked vehicles and rummaging through them. Several items including purses, electronics and money were taken, some of which have been recovered.
Detectives do not anticipate any additional arrests in the case.
