A man captured by police in Philadelphia was caught on tape attacking a woman and throwing her on to subway tracks. (Source: WPVI/CNN)PHILADELPHIA (WPVI/CNN) - A Philadelphia man wearing a distinctive coat was arrested in connection to a subway attack caught on camera Tuesday.
According to the security video, a man walked up to a 23-year-old woman as she waited for the subway.
After an initial interaction, he walks away and comes back to attack her.
As the attack progresses on the tape, the suspect drags the woman by her feet and throws her onto the subway tracks. The woman pulls herself off the tracks, only sustaining minor injuries.
Police report they decided to not inform the public of the incident, holding on to information about his jacket and captured him within 48 hours of the incident.
