SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA-TV) - After five season as the head Flyer, Steven Geter is leaving Loyola.  Announced by Loyola College Prep on Thursday, Geter is taking an administrative position at Evangel Christian Academy.  Geter led the Flyers to a 29-26 record including a 2008 appearance in the state quarterfinals.

Geter said in the release by Loyola, "I have enjoyed every moment at Loyola and I love the school and the people, but I feel like this is the best move for me and my family at this time.
