Houston Rodeo Concert Tickets for the best seats always sell out fast for Houston’s most popular annual event. For over 80 years, rodeo fans have flocked to see their favorite cowboys and concert performers. Each year, some of the top performers in the country perform for sold out audiences at Reliant Stadium. In 1942, the first star performer was Gene Autry. Elvis Presley’s 1970 performance broke all attendance records for a Houston Rodeo concert up until that time and for the next 8 years. Texas favorite son George Strait broke attendance records in 1996 and 2002. In 2012, Jason Aldean played to a crowd of 74,901 people in attendance.
For 2013 Houston Rodeo fans can choose from 21 different performers during 21 days of family entertainment. The Houston Rodeo concerts begin on February 25th with Toby Keith and end on March 17th with a concert only day with George Strait, Martina McBride, and the Randy Rogers Band.
